  2. What a nice example of Sid's painting. I hadn't seen it before and I have used it as part of a modest blog entry (http://www.comicbookdaily.com/collecting-community/white-tsunami-weca-splashes/sid-barron/) on Sid that I've just done. I am researching and writing about that little-known era of Canadian war-time comics and Sid was a solid part of it. I hope that I didn't get too many facts wrong from my impromptu biographical information. Sid was so lucky to have married such a like-minded and talented companion in life. Thanks for sharing this painting with us and thanks for your own wonderful artwork.

  3. Hi Jessie. I'm based in the UK and am in possession of 2 of Sid's paintings of the harbour. They were past to me by my in-laws. I am unfortunately having to down size my possessions due to a move and I was wondering if you might know the best way to go about selling the paintings? it is a great shame but I just don't have the room and would really love to find a loving home for them instead of keeping them in storage. Many thanks, Vickie
